Daily Reports - Equipment Tracking
Documenting daily construction activities provides transparency and reduces communication issues. Using ProjectSight’s daily reports, you can now track equipment used by each company on the job site.
Start by creating the equipment list in the portfolio or project settings. You can either create the list manually or you can import an existing one using the Import/Export tool. To make things a bit easier, ProjectSight includes a standard list of equipment choices.
On the daily report, use the equipment section to select the equipment used on the job site. Each equipment item may track the quantity and hours used, as well as the company and crew which used it.
ProjectSight now offers the ability to associate non-committing contracts and budget items with a revenue code. Using this association, you can roll up budget items or your prime contracts’ schedule of values based on your project’s revenue codes.
Start by manually creating a list of revenue codes or import a list using the Import/Export feature.
Assign a revenue code to each of your budget items. By default, the Revenue Code column appears at the end of the grid, but you can drag and drop it to a more convenient location.
You can also assign a revenue code for schedule of value items in your non-committing contracts. For your convenience, you can automatically create your schedule of values using the ‘Add Revenue Codes’ option. This option will create a SOV item for each revenue code selected, as well as set the default schedule value to the total of budget items with the same revenue code.
New Budget & Cost Management Dashboard Widgets
In our continued effort to make important project information quickly and readily accessible, we have improved our dashboard to include widgets for all Budget & Cost Management records (excludes budget items).
The BCM widgets also include summary values. Simply point your cursor to the value to see what it represents.
To further customize your widgets, you can choose up to five workflow statuses to display.
